Suspect arrested after man found stabbed in Seattle's Chinatown-International District

A man was arrested for an early-morning stabbing in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District.

The Seattle Police Department said it was called to 6th Avenue South and Seattle Boulevard South at 2:21 a.m. for the attack.

The victim, a 58-year-old man, was found stabbed in his stomach area, police began first aid until Seattle Fire Department medics were able to rush him to the hospital.

However, the victim was able to tell officers he was stabbed several blocks away and even gave a suspect description.

Police began to scour the area until they found a man matching the description. The victim confirmed it was the suspect and he was arrested.

Now, the 57-year-old suspect is in jail for first-degree assault.
