LIVINGSTON, Texas (KTRE) - A second person has died after a shooting incident that occurred at a Livingston home on Jan. 6 has died. As a result, the three suspects, who are all now in custody, have been charged with capital murder, according to Detective Leon Middleton with the Livingston Police Department.

Dontrevion Donnell Glenn, 18, Jared William Hope, 22, and Cole Byron Tucker, 20, all of Livingston, are being held in the Polk County Jail. The Polk County Jail website shows that all three men were charged with capital murder and murder. Hope was also charged with a probation violation.

Each man’s collective bail amount was set at $1.5 million, according to the Polk County Jail website.

Vickie Douglas died as a result of her injuries Thursday morning, Middleton said. The other person who was killed in the shooting incident was identified as Ashton Allen Smith, 22.

Livingston PD officers and Texas Rangers arrested Tucker in Houston the night of the shooting incident, Middleton said. The Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office nabbed Hope in that county the next morning.

Then on the night of Jan. 7, Texas Rangers arrested Glenn in Angelina County.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 6, the Livingston Police Department reports receiving two 911 calls regarding gunshots fired inside a home and several people being struck. Officers arrived at the 200 block of Maple Lane and found multiple gunshot victims and one man lying on the floor.

A 3-year-old female child was among the wounded, according to Livingston police.

Witnesses positively identified two of the alleged three suspects who fled the scene as Tucker and Hope. Glenn was identified later.

According to witnesses, Tucker began firing after he forcibly entered the home, and a man, who was later identified as Smith, inside returned fire. Smith was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was later identified as Ashton Allen Smith, 22, found dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.

All the victims except for one sustained gunshot wounds and are being treated for their injuries.
