The Aiken Newcomers’ Club celebrated their 50th anniversary on Oct. 11, with a luncheon at Newberry Hall in downtown Aiken. Special guests for the luncheon were Mayor Rick Osbon and Chamber President David Jameson. Mayor Osbon presented a special City of Aiken proclamation to members of the Aiken Newcomers’ Club. The nine living past presidents were in attendance and received flowers.
