In its post-COVID return, the Nashville Film Festival relaunched with a new twist. Rather than just set up camp in one area theater, the festival spread its wings and stationed events all over town. The multi-location format is more in line with some of the cinema’s bigger festivals and gives film fans a greater appreciation for the city’s various art scenes. It also helps that in 2021 NaFF introduced a virtual component to broaden the festival’s offerings and give those who weren’t quite ready to go back to the movies a chance to enjoy the festival at home.
