Coronation Street fans 'work out' horrifying baby kidnap plot after Summer's deal
Coronation Street's Summer Spellman has had her fair share of drama since being on the soap, and now fans have "predicted" a harrowing potential outcome to her pregnancy plot.

Teenager Summer (played by Harriet Bibby) recently found out she was pregnant with boyfriend Aaron Sandford (James Craven). After making up her mind to have an abortion, the vulnerable teen decided at the last minute she wasn't going to go through with it and instead would give her baby to couple Esther (Vanessa Hehir) and Mike Hargrave (Tom Lorcan), who had offered her money in exchange for the baby. As the storyline progresses, Coronation Street viewers are becoming concerned for the youngster, and have "worked out" the dark end that could be in store for her.

Fans have been suspicious of the couple since they approached Summer with the offer, but a recent conversation on the ITV soap has left them more concerned than before.
Summer decided to take the pair up on their offer after watching Aaron suffer over his father's alcoholism and being unable to send him to rehab.
As she met with the grateful couple, they expressed how much the agreement meant to them.
Their enthusiasm over the decision left Summer swayed towards keeping her baby for the two to adopt.
After the scan, Mike commented: "it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," as Esther became emotional.

"This is a big decision, Summer, so before we go any further, I need to know if this is definitely what you want," Esther remarked.
"I grew up with the best dad in the world, and he chose me when I was a baby, and then when I lost him, I was lucky enough to get another dad," Summer replied.
"He has supported me and loved me - I think family is so much more than blood."
Summer insisted she knew her decision was "right", while Mike asked the youngster to keep the deal between themselves for the time being.
The Weatherfield resident then explained she'd like to have some money upfront and detailed the reason.
The couple agreed and paid her £10,000. However, their suspicious behaviour has since continued.
After finding out Summer was keeping her decision from her guardian Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank), the two proposed a bizarre idea.
They didn't seem too fussed to discover Summer was keeping her huge decision a secret, and were instead pleased.
They then ran an idea by Summer and Aaron which caused further suspicion.
Mike advised Summer to put his name on the baby's birth certificate to make the process easier.

This would also give the couple a fighting chance if Summer had a change of heart after the baby's birth.
Could they be cementing their "ownership" of the baby in order to stop Summer from being able to change her mind?
Summer agreed to the dodgy idea, which caused fans to believe Esther and Mike have darker plans.
Fans don't trust the two, with Twitter user @Xanderdash writing: "#Corrie Summer just guilted into having this baby.
"This couple is just a little too keen on getting a child. I'm very suspicious of them even though they seem above board."
@FLady1980 theorised: "#corrie this couple wanting Summer’s baby are weird I bet they will kidnap summer."
@Louise49673572 added: "Maybe if Aaron cut his fringe and Summer quit the moaning for a minute then they’d see the weird cultists giving each other dodgy kidnapping looks #Corrie."

Perhaps the plot is leaning towards the couple being revealed as evil characters.
It could be that, once Summer has had the baby and sorted the birth certificate, the young mother will change her mind but won't be able to fight her case properly with Mike's name on the birth certificate.
Will a vulnerable Summer have a rethink after the baby is born and decide she wants to keep her child?
The couple will also be able to argue that they have already paid her the money she requested.
Could the two turn out to have a sinister plan up their sleeves?
