DOOR. THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS ASKING ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SHOOTING TO CONTACT THEM. STEWART: WE HAVE HEARD A LOT ABOUT THE LABOR SHORTAGE AND HOW IT IS MAKING IT HARD FOR BUSINESSES TO STAY OPEN. AND IN ORLANDO, AUDUBON PARK, TWO BELOVED BUSINESSES ARE THROWING IN THE TOWEL, CLOSING THEIR DOORS AS OF TODAY. MICHELLE: AS WESH 2’S MICHELLE MEREDITH REPORTS, DEVOTED CUSTOMERS OF BIKES, BEANS AND BORDEAUX AS WELL AS P IS FOR PIE, ARE BROKEN HEARTED. MICHELLE: AT THE POPULAR P IS FOR PIE BAKERY ON CORRINE DRIVE, THE COOLER THAT WOULD NORMALLY BE PACKED WITH PASTRIES HAD TWO LONELY PIES. AND THEY ALREADY HAD SOMEONE’S NAME ON THEM. THE SHOP IS MAKING PIES NO MORE. THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED FOREVER. CUSTOMERS WERE STUNNED. >> IT WAS A SHOCK WHEN WE SAW IT ON FACEBOOK. THEY CATERED OUR WEDDING AND MY DAUGHTER’S FIRST BIRTHDAY. IT WAS THE BEST. MICHELLE: P IS FOR PIE IS NOT CLOSING DOWN FOR LACK OF CUSTOMERS. IT’S A FAMILIAR THEME -- THEY’RE CLOSING DOWN BECAUSE OF LACK OF STAFF. >> AND WE HAVE JUST UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE THREE OF OUR BAKERS WERE ALL LEAVING AT THE SAME TIME, AND NOT FOR ANY PARTICULAR REASON, JUST LIFE CHANGES. IT DID NOT GIVE US THE TIME NEEDED TO FIND THE RIGHT PEOPLE AND TO BOUNCE BACK. MICHELLE: SADLY, ANOTHER GREAT RESTAURANT RIGHT DOWN THE STREET IS CLOSING, FOR THE SAME REASONS -- BIKES, BEANS, AND BORDEAUX. FOODIES ARE HEARTBROKEN. THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS 15 YEARS. A FAVORITE HANGOUT FOR CYCLISTS. >> THEY HAVE DONE A MARVELOUS JOB. I’M A RUNNER AND NOW THEY’RE GONE. MICHELLE: SO ON THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING, THE LAST DAY IN BUSINESS FOR BOTH PLACES, THERE WAS NOT MUCH MORE GRATEFUL CUSTOMERS COULD DO BUT GIVE HUGS. GIVE PRESENTS, WHICH OFTEN GAVE WAY TO TEARS. >> IT FEELS LIKE WE’RE LOSING A PIECE OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, SO IT’S SAD. MICHELLE: SAD TO LOSE TWO FOOD ICONS IN ORLANDO THAT WENT INTO BUSINESS TO FEED A COMMUNITY AND ENDED UP NOURISHING IT. IN ORANGE COUNTY, MICHEL
