The Best Super Bowl 2023 Commercials and Ads

The 2023 Super Bowl is undoubtedly a star-studded event — and that includes all the commercials.

While the football game brings fans together as they watch from the stands and their couches — and witness the Rihanna concert interrupted by a football game (a.k.a. the halftime show) — everyone knows one of the best parts of the game is watching the ads.

Last year brought us hilarious and heartwarming ads from businesses such as Amazon's Alexa and Budweiser, and the upcoming game is upping the commercials.

Ahead of the game, PEOPLE had sneak peeks at some of the biggest spots, including Jack Harlow's Doritos commercial, John Travolta's return to Grease form and an exclusive PEOPLE catch-up with Ben Affleck ahead of game day to chat about his Dunkin' spot alongside Jennifer Lopez that aired during the first commercial break on Super Bowl Sunday. It featured the two at the coffee company drive-thru.

Former Breaking Bad costars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul team up for a PopCorners Super Bowl commercial. In a brief clip of the spot, Paul is seen watching a desert sunset from a familiar-to-fans lawn chair, enjoying a bag of white cheddar popped corn crisps, when his phone rings. As the camera pans out, viewers get a glimpse of the iconic RV where Jesse Pinkman and Walter White cooked up schemes (among other things) during the five seasons of the show.

Heineken 0.0

For their Super Bowl ad, Heineken 0.0 enlists Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star and former PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive Paul Rudd.

Budweiser

Budweiser's Super Bowl 2023 commercial is a play on the six degrees of separation theory — and the subsequent game, six degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Bradley Cooper is joined by his mother, Gloria Campano, for T-Mobile's Super Bowl commercial.

McDonald's

Cardi B and Offset are featured in McDonald's sweet Super Bowl ad about the importance of knowing a loved one's order.

Dunkin'

Ben Affleck goes back to his New England roots in Dunkin's Super Bowl spot where he poses as a drive-thru attendant. The hilarious ad also features a cameo by Affleck's wife, Jennifer Lopez.

Jonas Brothers' Nick Jonas, who has Type 1 diabetes, stars in this ad for Dexcom's G7 device.

General Motors

General Motors and Netflix team up for this Super Bowl ad that has funnyman Will Ferrell stepping into roles from Netflix originals showing off various electric vehicles. At one point he is even joined by Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness.

e.l.f. Cosmetics

Jennifer Coolidge receives a special package from e.l.f Cosmeticsin the beauty brand's Super Bowl ad. The actress gives the product her seal of approval exclaiming "I look like a baby dolphin" and testing out the primer's stickiness.

T-Mobile

John Travolta takes a trip back to Rydell High in this T-Mobile Super Bowl spot where he is joined by Zach Braff and Donald Faison for a special rendition of "Summer Nights."

Skechers

Snoop Dogg takes a trip from a private jet to the Oval Office and is joined by Tony Romo, Howie Long and his pal Martha Stewart in this Skechers Super Bowl ad.

Google Pixel

Amy Schumer, Doja Cat and Giannis Antetokounmpo all make appearances is the Google Pixel Super Bowl ad showcasing the phone's special features.

M&M's

Maya Rudolph continued her gig as M&M's spokesperson in the candy brand's Super Bowl ad which advertised a version of the candy filled with...clams! After the game, M&M released a different spot announcing that its "spokescandies" were back.

Ram Trucks

Ram's 60-second "Premature Electrification" stars The Flight Attendant's Jason Jones, spoofing ads for male sex-enhancement drugs while taking shots at the current all-electric vehicle market. The spot highlights the Ram 1500 REV electric pickup that is expected to go on sale next year.

Planters

Planters' spot sees "The Roast of Mr. Peanut," featuring comedians Jeff Ross, Natasha Leggero, Atsuko Okatsuka, Frank Castillo, Yamaneika Saunders, David Lucas and Sarah Tiana taking jabs at the top hat-donning, monocle-wearing, snackable shelled mascot.

Kia Telluride

Kia's 60-second "Binky Dad" features a dedicated father driving a 2023 Telluride X-Pro who goes viral on social media for the great lengths he goes through to retrieve a forgotten binky for his baby.

Farmer's Dog

The Farmer's Dog unleashed a heart-warming Super Bowl spot featuring a Labrador named Bear who grows up alongside a young girl named Ava and is by her side throughout her life's biggest moments.

Jeep

Jeep's 60-second ad features animals dancing alongside "4xe" plug-in hybrid electric versions of the brand's Wrangler and Grand Cherokee SUVs while a remixed rendition of Marcia Griffiths' 1983 hit "Electric Boogie" (also known as the "Electric Slide") plays out loud.

Bush's Beans

Bush's Beans Super Bowl commercial, "Go Bigger," stars NFL legend and brand ambassador Peyton Manning who shows fans the nutrition and versatility benefits of the powerful bean, including being a great source of fiber and a plant-based protein.
