SEATTLE, Wash. — Madonna announced a world tour Tuesday that will feature four decades of the singer/songwriter’s greatest hits.
The Live Nation tour will stop in Seattle on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the Climate Pledge Arena.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” said Madonna.
Tickets go on sale Friday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m. Citi card members and Legacy fan club members will have access to presale tickets from 2:00 p.m. January 17, 2023 to 6:00 p.m. January 19, 2023. Fans can also buy VIP packages which could include premium tickets, exclusive behind-the-scenes tour access, a group photo on-stage, pre-show reception, limited edition lithograph and more.
The tour announcement came a day after Madonna wiped out her verified Instagram account, which is a new trend for celebrities ahead of major announcements. Madonna also released a YouTube video as part of the announcement (WARNING: the video is NSFW). It featured several celebrities, including Jack Black, Amy Schumer, Eric Andre, Judd Apatow, Bob the Drag Queen, Diplo, Lil Wayne, Larry Owens, Meg Statler, and Kate Berlant. The announcement video was a nod to Madonna’s 1991 film ‘Truth or Dare.’
Madonna’s Celebration tour will stop in 35 cities worldwide, with European stops including London, Barcelona, Paris and Stockholm.
