Paul Mescal reveals ‘traumatic’ experience with former babysitter
PAUL Mescal has revealed a 'traumatic' experience with a former babysitter.
The actor has gained international fame after being nominated for an Oscar for his role in the film After Sun.
Paul was chatting with comedians James Acaster an Ed Gamble when he revealed a traumatic childhood experience that led him to dislike ketchup and easy single cheese.
He said: "It is a fear of Heinz ketchup and easy singles.
"I used to go to a childminder after school, she was lovely but then one day she decided for a snack she put an easy single out spray f***ing Heinz ketchup on it rolled it up and went 'here you go'.
"And I was like 'no thank you, I would rather not have that'.

"She thought I was getting cheeky and then she slapped me."
The actor explained that after telling his mum about the incident he never went back to the same babysitter but he still is not the biggest fan of ketchup and easy singles.
He said: "It was pretty traumatic and then I told my mum and I never saw that childminder again.
"It has taken me a second to go back to easy singles and ketchup.

"Cheap ketchup I still can't do, I can do the kind of relishy stuff and easy singles."
Referring to his babysitter's snack of a cheese single and ketchup he added: "That's just a s**t snack."
BAD HABIT
While chatting with the lads he then revealed he is trying to shake his smoking habit.
He said: "I'm trying to give up smoking."
Paul explained that he has given up before but always finds an excuse to start again.
He said: "I have been able to give up smoking for periods of time but I am always looking for the excuse to start again.
"I'm always like, 'God I f***ing hope something bad happens so I can start smoking'."
He jokingly added: "So I am smoking again, read into that what you will."
