A stately red-brick estate graced by country stars in Brentwood, an affluent hilly town just 12 miles outside of Nashville, Tennessee, will be auctioned on Feb. 18 without reserve, meaning the highest bidder will become the new owner.

Encompassing 4.66 acres, the compound has a 10,724-square-foot main mansion, a 1,644-square-foot guest apartment and a 4,081-square-foot entertainment building, according to DeCaro Auctions International, which is handling the auction.

The property hit the market last August for $12.8 million, and the listing is still active without a price tag, listing records show.

“The sellers and their agent have decided to take a bold path in getting the property sold by bringing the property for sale at a truly absolute auctionl,” said Daniel DeCaro, president and founder of his eponymous auction house, based in Naples, Florida,

The estate was purchased by Beverly Hills jeweler Johnathon Arndt and his partner Newman Arndt in 2014 for close to $2 million in 2014 as a vacation home, property records show. They sponsored a house concert by country singer Carrie Underwood in October 2015 that raised more than $146,000 for MusiCares, the Recording Academy’s charity that provides support to musicians.

“On beautiful, rolling green hills overlooking the Governor’s Club, the estate

features approximately 15,000 square feet of splendor, creating a memorable

atmosphere for guests of notoriety,” Mr. DeCaro said.

The Governor’s Club is a private, 600-acre 18-hole golf club with other club amenities, such as a resort-style swimming pool, two private dining rooms and shops.

Other notable events include Nashville Shines for Haiti, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Annual Honor Society Membership, he noted.

The home features six fireplaces, high-end finishes such as imported marble and granite, hardwoods, millwork and plaster details, according to the marketing material.

Other unique fixtures include lead crystal chandeliers from the Czech Republic, one of which is autographed by Dolly Parton, according to the auction house.

The Arndts sold the estate to a limited liability company for an undisclosed amount, property records show.

The auction will be held live, on-site on Feb. 18. Previews, by appointment, begin this Saturday through the day prior to the auction.
