The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported Friday that there are 897 current active cases of COVID-19 in the state.

There was one death attributed to COVID-19 reported to the DHHR since yesterday's report. The total number of COVID-19 attributed deaths in West Virginia is 7,867.
