Weeks after being traded by the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers, NBA star Mo Bamba is tying up loose ends in Florida, having listed his penthouse in Orlando for $2.879 million.

Mr. Bamba, 24, bought the penthouse in downtown Orlando for about $1.7 million in 2018, two months after he was selected by the Magic in the 2018 NBA draft, according to property records and Erin Wanner of Stockworth Realty Group, who represented him in the purchase.

“This penthouse is truly a one-of-a-kind, trophy residence in the Orlando market,” said Ms. Wanner, who is now handling the sale. “Mo had vision when he purchased this unit, and spent almost two years bringing his vision to life.

“He artfully renovated the space with luxurious high-end finishes and state-of-the-art technology. He has impeccable taste, and whoever gets to call this penthouse home next is very lucky,” she added.

Designed by Ted Maines Interiors, the home features custom wall coverings by Phillip Jefferies, light fixtures by Tom Dixon and smart home technology and acoustics from brands such as Crestron, Sonance and Vicoustic, as well as English oak and exotic wood flooring and marble walls and countertops, Ms. Wanner said.

The 4,800-square-foot penthouse has three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a formal living room with a built-in sitting area, a family room with a 110-inch projector screen, a formal dining room and a chef’s kitchen, according to the listing.

The residence also comes with a wraparound terrace with sweeping views of the city skyline, the listing said.

The home was listed last week. It was previously on the market for $2.795 million in 2021, listing records show.

The condominium building, completed in 2005, is a short walk to Lake Eola, Thornton Park and restaurants and shopping. Amenities include a heated pool and spa, a community room, 24/7 security and concierge services.

Mr. Bamba, who was not available for comment, made his professional debut on Oct. 17, 2018, helping the Magic to a 104–101 win over the Miami Heat. Earlier this month, he was traded to the Lakers in a four-team deal involving the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets.
