Manhattan Beach State Of The City To Outline Future Projects

City officials will speak about developments in Manhattan Beach over the past year and will also look to the future ahead for the city.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach State of the City ceremony will take place on Thursday and many speakers will inform the community on advancements and plans for the future of the city.

At the ceremony, community members will hear from Mayor Steve Napolitano, City Manager Bruce Moe, President of the Chamber of Commerce David Archer, MB Police Chief Rachel Johnson and MBUSD Superintendent John Bowes.

The free event will touch on achievements in the city over the past year and outline upcoming plans for projects and continued improvement of life in Manhattan Beach.

The ceremony will take place at the Westdrift Hotel at 1400 Park View Ave. and doors open at 4:30 p.m. The program will go from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a Chamber mixer following the ceremony.

Officials asked that members of the public pre-register to attend the State of the City.
