AROUND 6:46 LAST NIGHT, POLICE GOT A REPORT THAT THERE IS A DECEASED PERSON INSIDE OF A HOME ON SAYONARA DRIVE, THAT’S JUST NORTH OF THE SUNRISE MALL. OFFICERS FOUND THE BODY OF A MAN INSIDE AND SAY IT DOESN’T APPEAR TO BE RANDOM. THE ROAD WAS CLOSED AS INVESTIGATORS WERE CALLED IN TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENE

The Citrus Heights Police Department said a suspicious death at a home is now being investigated as a homicide. Police received a report Monday around 6:45 p.m. that there was a person dead inside a home on Sayonara Drive, just north of the Sunrise Mall. Citrus Heights police said officers found the body of a man inside and said it did not appear to be random. The roadway was closed as police investigated, and the roads reopened Tuesday morning.
