Fifty beds were given to kids in need in Northwest Florida Saturday.

It was part of a collaboration between the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Valerie's House and Ashley Furniture.

It's called the "Hope to Dream" program.

The program provides beds and bedding to children in need.

Children also were given pajamas, teddy bears, and other things to help with their bedtime routine.

"When you see a smile on a child's face when they touch a mattress for the first time, I saw two or three walk up and go oh I think they're minds going I get to sleep on this when they're used to sleeping on a couch I mean you think about it that's what we do we try to provide comfort and it's about living and that's what we do," Ashley Furniture in Pensacola Director Steve Jernudd said.

The "Hope to Dream" program started in 2010 and has given over 140,000 beds to children in need across the country.
