One person dead after a Townhome fire in Palm Springs

PALM SPRINGS, Fla. (CBS12) —
One person is dead after a fire at a Townhome in Palm Springs.

The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue units responded to the fire at Williams Court in Palm Springs at around 1:15 a.m. on Friday.
PBCFR says callers reported seeing both smoke and flames coming from multiple windows.
PBCFR units arrived in less than five minutes and found a two-story seven-unit townhome on fire.
There were reports of three people living in the apartment, PBCFR says. Two of the people made it out of the building safely, but one person was found dead.
The fire was under control approximately half an hour after the initial call was made.
PBCFR says the fire remains under investigation.
