Rochester, N.Y. — Three teenagers face weapons charges following a traffic stop on the city's west side.
Police stopped a vehicle on Lyell Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday for traffic violations and found a loaded handgun. They also learned no one in the vehicle had a valid license.
Tenereh Dixon-Moore and Jose Martinez, both 19, are charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. They were taken to the Monroe County Jail.
The 17-year-old driver, whose name wasn't released, is also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, along with traffic violations. He was taken to the Monroe County Children’s Detention Center.
