After a more than $500,000 price cut, a Nashville compound found a buyer in less than a week.

Last asking $9.95 million, the approximately 11,000-square-foot Oak Hill residence sits on a 1.72-acre plot, according to the listing with French King Fine Properties. It was first listed in February for $10.5 million, and the price was cut at the end of May, listing records show. By Sunday, an offer was pending on the property.

Mansion Global could not determine the buyer’s identity, as the deal has yet to close.

Shannon Terry, CEO and founder of On3, a college sports media, data and marketing company, and his wife, Falon, bought the home in 2018—for the second time. Shannon Terry first purchased the home back in 2010 for $540,000, according to records PropertyShark. He sold it four years later for $3.3 million, then bought it back for $3.81 million, records show.

“We were lucky to get a second shot at it,” Falon Terry told Better Homes & Gardens last summer. “To make it exactly right for us.”

The couple gave the residence a major makeover in 2020, helmed by Nashville-based architect Sharon Pigott and R. Higgins Interiors. He turned the traditional home into one with a fresh design and spaces that worked for the family’s lifestyle.

“Livability and comfort needed to come first,” Higgins told Better Homes & Gardens.

Today, the home has a double-height living room with a fireplace and French doors leading outside to the pool area, listing photos show. There’s also a dining space that leads to the kitchen, which was redone with teal millwork, an island, two sinks and double ovens.

There are five en-suite bedrooms in the main house, including a first-floor primary suite with a windowed desk area, a marble bathroom, a dressing room and additional office space, according to the listing. The additional bedrooms are upstairs, some of which feature built-in bunks for kids’ sleepovers or a cozy hideaway.

Outside, there’s a covered stone terrace with an outdoor kitchen and dining area, another covered lounge area and the pool and spa, plus a full gym.

Other features include a guest/pool house with a full kitchen and indoor and outdoor living spaces, a garden with raised beds, a sports court and abundant parking, the listing said.
