THIRD PERIOD

0.0: SKINNER ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! TWO HUGE SAVES IN THE FINAL MINUTE TO WIN IT FOR THE OILERS! The Oilers netminder doesn't get the shutout, but he was terrific all day from the crease to lead the Oilers to their third straight win, 2-1 for Edmonton over Seattle. They'll look to roll momentum into tomorrow's concluding game of a back-to-back at Rogers Place against the Penguins.

53.0: Draisaitl is going to the box after holding in the neutral zone. Edmonton will have to kill off a 6-on-4.

1:37: The extra attacker is out for Seattle.

6:37: It finds a way through. The puck takes a deflection on its way towards the net off the shot from Eeli Tolvanen, but it strikes the right hand of Darnell Nurse after he dropped to block the shot-pass before it goes through Skinner's five-hole. 2-1.

8:00: Nugent-Hopkins is called for holding along the boards. Power play to Seattle.

11:58: KULAK KNUCKLER! Brett Kulak's wrist shot from the point goes off the post and in to double Edmonton's lead. They have their netminder to thank for making some big saves on Seattle to keep them ahead, so the Kraken will feel hard done by, but the Oilers now lead 2-0 on Kulak's third of the season.

14:47: McCAN'T BELIEVE IT! Stuart Skinner stands him up on an open look from the slot. Another incredible save by the Oilers netminder.

20:00: The third period is underway!

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: AFTER 40 | Oilers 1, Kraken 0.

5:30: Corey Perry draws a slashing call with a hard cut to the net. Oliver Bjorkstrand is the offender and will sit for two minutes.

9:48: DRAISAITL DEPOSITS NO. 30! That's officially six straight seasons for the German with 30 goals. Connor McDavid makes a backwards pass then falls into the boards, but the captain is alright and picks up another assist to reach 95 points.

It took almost 30 minutes, but we finally have a breakthrough and it's the Oilers who lead 1-0.

FIRST PERIOD

0.0: Edmonton can't convert the late power play as a strong period from both netminder ends 0-0.

2:27: Hyman draws a tripping penalty for Edmonton's first power play.

11:22: Justin Schultz's shot hits the post and luckily goes under Skinner to freeze the play. There will be an Oilers penalty, however, with Nurse going off for slashing on Jared McCann.

15:38: A SPRAWLING SKINNER SAVE WITH THE BLOCKER ON EBERLE! The former Oiler tries to toe drag the netminder, but Skinner comes up with a huge stop. Two shots against, two massive saves for the Oilers goalie.

19:07: A great early Skinner save! A bad bounce off a skate sees Yanni Gourde have an open chance alone in the Oilers zone, but Skinner pushes it out with the blocker. Before that, the Oilers had the Kraken under pressure. A lively start at Climate Pledge Arena.

20:00: GAME ON! Grubauer vs. Skinner. It's Grubauer's fourth straight start since returning from a groin injury. Skinner is looking to build on two consecutive strong starts.
