The Society of Italian American Businessmen (SIAB) announced that the Galbani Maryland Italian Festival will be returning to the Harford County Equestrian Center in Bel Air, Sept. 27- 29, 2024.

They're returning with title sponsor Galbani Cheese and, new this year, presenting sponsor Jarrettsville Furniture. The three-day outdoor festival will once again include popular attractions such as carnival rides and a midway, two wine/beer/liquor piazzas, cooking and wine demos, and local vendors.

In its second year, the festival will bring almost double the number of food and beverage vendors, additional offsite parking and bus transportation, more VIP villas, new and returning national and regional entertainment and additional corporate sponsorship opportunities.

“Our hopes and goals for our inaugural event last year were surpassed and truly wouldn’t have been possible without the support we received from Harford County. We're preparing to come back bigger and better this year and look forward to showcasing our state’s Italian American heritage to those who attend from near and far,” said Joe Papa, SIAB president in a news release.

SIAB’s annual Bocce Tournament will continue to be a favored part of the festival, where participants can cheer on teams including Special Olympians, while competing for cash prizes. The Bocce tournament, along with proceeds from the festival helps SIAB’s mission to support charities focused on education, family and child services, mental health and addiction.

"I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be part of the SIAB team, contributing to this amazing festival that honors food, culture, music, and more," said Frank Avena, owner of Jarrettsville Furniture and a SIAB member in a news release. "I'm proud to contribute to the growth of the festival while also continuing SIAB's steadfast, charitable endeavors."
