Mar 4, 2024

1946 — 2024

Aljoe LaRae King, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on February 24, 2024. She was born in Ogden, Utah on June 24, 1946 to Chester Alonzo King and Lucy Wallace King. Aljoe was born and raised on a farm in Kaysville and loved to share stories about her childhood growing up on the farm. She graduated from Davis High School and had fond memories of being the yearbook editor.

Aljoe had a prestigious real estate career of 49 years. She earned numerous awards and achievements including being voted Realtor of the Year, State Governor of the Women’s Council of Realtors, and President of the Ogden & State Chapters of the Board of Realtors. Aljoe was dedicated to her work and enjoyed her service in the “Have a Heart” housing project (which helped special needs families get into their first homes) and Christmas Tree Jubilee, to benefit Weber Education Foundation. The part of her work she loved the most was helping families find a place to call home.

Aljoe loved her family and made sure to make holidays extra special with traditions we all looked forward to each year. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, and good friends.

She is survived by her three children, Bryan (Terri), Alisa, and Amber (Zonnie) and five grandchildren, Chandra, Kalin, Austin, Logan, and Lucy.

Special thanks to the Kaysville 3rd ward and all her wonderful friends that provided so much help and care to mom as her health was failing.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family Friday from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary prior to the service.
