The TimberTech Championship presented a check for $400,000 to the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation on Tuesday, a big part of more than $500,000 that was raised for local charities through the local PGA TOUR Champions playoff event, which was played last November at Broken Sound Club.

“On behalf of TimberTech/AZEK, we are proud to support the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation through this donation,” said Amanda Cimaglia, Vice President, ESG & Corporate Affairs for The AZEK Company. The AZEK Company is the parent company of TimberTech. “Our commitment to innovation, sustainability and community resonates strongly as we strive to make a positive impact beyond our outdoor living products, fostering healthier communities and a brighter future for all.”

The event has raised more than $3.8 million overall in the tournament’s 17-year history in our area, with AZEK/TimberTech took over sponsorship of the event in 2020.

“We are thrilled to be able to continue our significant charitable contributions to the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation and the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health and Wellness Institute,” said Ken Kennerly, the tournament’s co-Executive Director. “The support from the great hospital, the City of Boca Raton, and the entire Boca Raton community has been phenomenal and has allowed the PGA TOUR Champions event to grow each and every year. We look forward to the next PGA TOUR Champions chapter happening March 31st to April 6th, 2025.”

The next chapter will include new sponsorship when the inaugural James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Classic will be held on the Old Course at Broken Sound Club the first week in April 2025 – the week before the Masters.

A large part of the tournament's large donation goes directly to the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute, part of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital. The Women’s Health & Wellness Institute, which opened in 2015, serves 65,000 women a year.
