Sheryl Renae Hastings Bowman, 56, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away on March 19, 2024, at Washington Regional Medical Center, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born June 7, 1967, in Texarkana, Texas, to Jim and Dell (Nettles) Hastings.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Erin Elizabeth Bowman. Sheryl was an avid advocate for children in this life, and we know she is overjoyed being able to hold her two unborn babies and her five unborn grandbabies. She was a woman who loved BIG to the very end… all gas, no brakes! Whether it came to the Lord, her church, her students, or the Razorbacks, she was in it 100%.
Sheryl is survived by her husband, Trevor, of the home; her daughter, Casey Bowman and partner Matthew Beach, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; daughter, Allie Burgess and husband Austin, of Springdale, Arkansas; her parents, Jim and Dell Hastings, of Texarkana, Texas; brother Skip Hastings and wife Keily, of Fayetteville; and cousin, Steve Hastings and wife Lisa, of New Braunfels, Texas.
A visitation will be held, Monday, March 25, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Sager Creek Community Church, 1600 Cheri Whitlock Dr, Siloam Springs, AR 72761.
Her funeral will be Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the church. The family asks that visitors wear red in celebration of life and the things she loved….Go Hogs! The burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Siloam Springs.
