MORE than 1,300 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in the last 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.20pm today (January 10) - show that 1,325 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Across Hampshire, there has been a total of 58,695 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 - approximately 4.2 per cent of the county's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority on January 10:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 133 (5,150 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 56 (3,287)
- Eastleigh: 68 (3,438)
- Fareham: 63 (3,280)
- Gosport: 69 (2,304)
- Hart: 57 (2,940)
- Havant: 116 (4,819)
- New Forest: 82 (3,788)
- Portsmouth: 208 (9,287)
- Rushmoor: 127 (5,117)
- Southampton: 219 (8,661)
- Test Valley: 72 (3,187)
- Winchester: 55 (3,437)
