UNCONQUERED: With another win, the Warriors golf team remains undefeated on the season. Pictured is Emmett Street on the course on Wednesday.

Mason Howell was the Warriors’ low scorer with a 66, while Shep Davis and Austin Baker each shot a 69.

“Austin Baker has really learned how to score,” said Brookwood golf coach Jimmy Gillam when asked how the team has improved. “He’s always had a really good golf swing, but he seemed to struggle with getting the most out of his game. He’s really seemed to maximize each round so far that I’ve seen this year.”

Stafford Davis rounded out Brookwood’s scores with a 73

Brookwood’s middle school team showed dramatic improvement in the tournament as well, with a 25 shot improvement from their last time on the course.

“They played extremely well,” said Gillam.

James Street led the way with a 34 followed by Jacob Marler’s 36. Henry Rosser shot a 38 and Mark Nesmith stayed below 40 with his 39. Finley Walker rounded out the middle school Warriors scores with a 41.
