Malaysian High Comm hosts Iftar for orphans

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The High Commission of Malaysia in Brunei Darussalam, in collaboration with PETRONAS Carigali Brunei Ltd (PCBL), organised an iftar gathering for 32 orphaned children and their guardians on Wednesday (March 27).

Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Dato’ Raja Reza Raja Zaib Shah and Country Head of PCBL Nenisurya binti Dato’ Hashim officiated the event.

The orphans also received donations and clothes for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

The event aims to promote the practice of sharing of blessings with the underprivileged as well as to fulfil the corporate social responsibility of the High Commission of Malaysia in Brunei Darussalam and PCBL to the local community. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
