FORSYTH, Ga. — Three people were arrested after a Forsyth armed robbery, according to a press release from the Forsyth Police Department.
The robbery occurred on Tuesday, the release said. They say an officer "promptly responded to a 911 call" reporting an armed robbery in the 400 block of Main Street. That's a residential home.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the victims and got information about what allegedly happened. The release says the victims told police they were held at gunpoint for money.
Then, the officer sent information about the suspect's vehicles over dispatch, the press release said.
On the way to the scene, they say another officer saw a car that matched the description sent over dispatch, and he conducted a traffic stop on the car.
Inside, the officer found three people who matched the description provided by the victims, the press release said.
Forsyth police arrested Christian Heath, Jamuari Johnson and a juvenile.
Inside the car they also found a stolen gun along with two other guns and three ski masks, the press release said.
Cpl. Kimberly Barnett told 13WMAZ that Heath, Johnson and the juvenile were all charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
