COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Tickets sold out within hours for the Liverpool F.C. and Manchester United game at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

Presale opened on Monday and general sale tickets were available online only Tuesday.

The two teams will play against each other on Aug. 3 as part of their three city Rivals in Red Tour.

The match will bring the Premier League titans together for the biggest international soccer match in the history of the state.

Manchester United is one of the most widely supported soccer teams in the world. United is a winner of a record 20 league titles and has won every major trophy in England and Europe. According to Forbes, Man. United is the 2nd most valuable soccer team in the world with a valuation of $6 billion.

Liverpool F.C. will return to the United States of America for the first time in five years.

One of the most popular and winning soccer teams, the club has won 19 domestic league titles, eight FA Cups, and six European Cups. Liverpool ranks fourth in soccer club valuation, at $5.29 billion.
