The 23-year-old announced the news on Monday after he had to cut his rookie season short last year following the diagnosis. “On December 1st 2023, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He then thanked his teammates, family “and the entire Houston Texans organization,” for their support and care. “I will provide updates from time to time,” he added at the time. “But my main focus right now is on my health and recovery. Thank you and God bless.” Meanwhile, the Houston Texans reported on their website that Horton logged 13 tackles in 10 games last season before he took his break from playing.
