Saint Louis University students will present projects from throughout the semester ahead of a concert at the Sheldon on Wednesday, May 17 at 7 p.m. to celebrate the Forest Park Living Lab in "Explore Nature Through Music."

The Forest Park Living Lab is a partnership of Forest Park Forever, The National Great Rivers Research and Education Center, Saint Louis University, the Saint Louis Zoo, Washington University in St. Louis and the World Bird Sanctuary. Together, these organizations have dedicated years to studying animals throughout one of the United States’ largest urban parks.

To celebrate the work they have already accomplished, and the work they hope to continue to do, the Forest Park Living Lab is welcoming Erin Schreiber, first violin in the St. Louis Symphony, for a special concert in front of video captured of animals throughout Forest Park.

Ahead of the concert and during intermission, SLU students will have infographics and posters detailing their academic research projects and findings from the work put in by the Forest Park Living Lab. One of the highlights of the Forest Park Living Lab is their work with great horned owls, and attendees can meet with an owl ahead of the concert as well.
