Mary Francis “Big Momma” Jones passed away March 7, 2024 in Texarkana, TX. She was born June 27, 1940 in Ashdown, AR to Millage Deaton and Lula Mae Thornton.
She attended Central Baptist Church in Ashdown and was a faithful attendee until she became unable.
Francis is survived by her three sons, Charles (Debbie) Jones of Moon, OK; Kurt Jones of Ashdown; Chuck Stuart of Ashdown; and son-in-law Jacob Cody of Ashdown; daughter Becky Miller (Tim) of Fouke, AR and , daughter-in-law Connie Jones of Ashdown; one sister, Ada Ruth Russell of Ashdown; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by Junior Jones (son) and parents Daigo and Lula Mae Deaton.
Visitation will be one hour (1pm) before the service at 2 p.m. March 11, 2024 at Central Baptist Church Ashdown, AR with Pastor Don Embry officiating. Interment will be at Hicks Cemetery immediately following the service.
