A car crashed and damaged a fire hydrant Wednesday morning at Sunrise Park Drive and Sunrise Boulevard in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.
The roadway was partially flooded, so police asked drivers to avoid the area and use alternative routes. No injuries were reported and the car wasn't stolen, police said.
