Why: A 20th anniversary calls for a celebration, and who better to team up with than Jenny Slate? Cult jewelry brand Catbird tapped the actress, comedian, and author (who’s currently working on her new essay collection, Lifeform, due out in October) to create an eight-piece collection of jewelry inspired by motherhood and childhood. The Entwined Braided Chain necklace [pictured here] is meant to evoke memories of the person who taught you to braid your hair, for example.

The store has doubled in size, with the help of longtime Chanel collaborator Peter Marino, who has brought design-forward touches to the two floors. The ground level hosts all the handbags one could ever dream up, plus fragrances, beauty, watches, jewelry, you name it. If the temptation is there, make your way upstairs for ready-to-wear from the spring/summer 2024 collection. The boutique is adorned with art Marino has collected over the course of his career, plus vintage Goossens chandeliers, a true testament to the brand’s love for design, art, and all-around beauty.

Why: Ba&sh is dipping its toe further into the bridal game. The French cool-girl brand has revealed the latest drop of its bridal collection, fit for brides and wedding guests alike. There are bohemian lace dresses, knit separates, and tailored jackets, i.e. something for everyone, “whether it’s the walk down the aisle or the joyous moments in between,” CEO Desiree Thomas says in a press release.

Why: Miaou showed its SS24 collection in Paris, so it’s fitting that creative director Alexia Elkaim wanted to bring a piece of the City of Lights to L.A. for her first pop-up in the city, open for a limited time. The relaxed vintage design plays on her grandmother’s Rive Gauche apartment, giving a French-girl-cool air to the space. It’s stocked to the brim with corsets, a brand signature, plus new drops from Starface and Adidas Originals to accessorize your wares.

Why: “Tiffany Wonder” is an immersive experience like no other, with 10 unique rooms exploring themes that are pivotal to the jeweler’s legacy. The exhibit will be open from April 12 through June 23, so book those plane tickets ASAP.

A partnership worth celebrating, the new line blossoms online and in stores on March 23, as the veteran designer welcomes the 50th anniversary of her iconic wrap dress. According to von Furstenberg herself, the assortment “screams DVF.” What could be better?

Why: For his latest collection, Hedi Slimane dug deep into the ’60s and ’70s archives at Celine, bringing to life an epic show filmed across iconic Art Deco institutions in Paris, like Maison de la Chimie, where Slimane held his first Yves Saint Laurent show in 1997. The collection is full of nods to icons like Jackie O., Catherine Deneuve and, of course, Céline Vipiana. Pillbox hats pair with layers of pearls, mod dresses in plain black and embellished creams go with space-age knee-high white boots, and the iconic Triomphe bag gains new meaning with a dedication to the motif first established in 1971. Plus, Slimane is expanding his beauty offering with Celine Beauté, introducing a line of 15 lipstick shades available next year. The models in the video are wearing “Le Peau Nue,” a natural rose shade, but the first shade to be sold this fall will fittingly be “Rouge Triomphe.”
