It's the 46th Annual Wye Daffodil Festival being held in Bigelow outside of the Wye Mountain Church from March 2 through March 10.

It's just like signifying Spring and newness," said Haley Hazen, resident of Benton and homemaker. "And like rejuvenation from the winter.

The festival makes up seven acres of over 80 varieties of daffodils. Other activities include arts and crafts, food vendors, music, photo opportunities, and even a historic church tour available with the festivities.

“My favorite part is it’s bright, it's cheery, it has a sense of promise, an expectation, but it's calming, it’s not overbearing, it's very soothing," said Lynee Boswell, resident of Conway. "I love the landscape of the terrain, it’s a little bit hilly so you have different vistas. If you walk around the whole area, you’ll just see different levels, curves, and then they have several different varieties of daffodils so I haven’t really seen this many before so it's just lovely to walk around.”

Parking and admission are free to the public, but donations are accepted. Additionally, animals are welcome as long as they're wearing a leash.

“It’s really been really lovely, very tranquil and peaceful out here and that’s kind of what we’re looking for," said Hazen. "It’s really lovely to have a small, kind of hometown-ish style festival that we can take our children to.”

The Wye Daffodil Festival is located just northwest of Little Rock at 22300 Highway 113.
