During the promotion of her film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, Ananya Panday likened herself to her character in the movie, describing herself as a ‘psycho obsessive stalker girlfriend’. In a later interview, asked about the craziest thing she’s done in a relationship, Ananya shared an anecdote about dialing her boyfriend’s number 50 to 75 times in a row because he was not answering her calls.
On the show ‘No Filter Neha’ with Neha Dhupia, she admitted, “When my partner didn’t answer his phone, I would call him up to 75 times.” The host, Neha, asked her not to reveal the name of her partner, leading to a brief moment of silence before Ananya elaborated on her actions, acknowledging her impatience and reluctance to give space, which she admitted was not a good trait.
Ananya also mentioned her tendency to quickly move past incidents, despite initially reacting dramatically. “I can get over things really fast. I might be crying hysterically for a couple of hours, but then I’m suddenly okay, claiming I just needed to be dramatic but I’m alright now,” she shared, laughing and advising her fans against excessive calling, pointing out the futility as the other person might simply turn their phone to airplane mode.
Furthermore, Ananya shared a tip she got from her sister, Rysa, on handling the urge to vent. Rysa advised her to save Rysa’s contact under her partner’s name, allowing her to express her feelings without directly confronting her partner.

While the duo have never confirmed out loud about their relationship, their public appearances, and several confessions during interviews have given enough proof of them dating. In the same interview, Ananya clarified that she ‘isn’t just friends’ with Aditya.
When Neha Dhupia asked Ananya Panday about her dating status with Aditya Roy Kapur, when she stated, that she and Aditya Roy Kapur have been just friends, and talking. Ananya then clarified, “I didn’t say we are just friends. You said, you are talking..” Neha was left in splits, with her response.
