Fall River police announced Tuesday that a third person was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Colus Jamal Mills-Good.

Jadyn Ortiz, 19, of Fall River, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon. Police said he was charged with accessory to murder after the fact.

Ortiz is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning in Fall River District Court.

Fall River police responded to the area of Rock and Franklin Streets at about 11:41 a.m. Thursday for reports of shots fired.

When they arrived, they located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as Mills-Good, of Fall River, was transported to Saint Luke's Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Police said Mills-Good was walking to school when a car approached him.

They said one person fired several shots at him from the car's front passenger seat while another person got out of the car ran toward him and fired five shots.

Xzavien Figueroa-Valcarel, 19, of Fall River, and Giovanni Nunes, 18, of Fall River, were both also charged with accessory to murder after the fact over the weekend.

According to officials, the two teens were in the car that approached Mills-Good, but they weren't the ones who shot and killed him.

They were both being held on $250,000 cash bail.
