CONWAY, Ark. — One person is in custody after a shooting on Interstate 40 west in Conway around 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
Arkansas State Police said no injuries were reported in the incident between Exit 129 (Dave Ward Drive) and Exit 125 (Oak Street).
According to authorities, the Conway Police Department (CPD) responded to 911 calls from travelers who reported the incident. CPDand Arkansas State Police then collaborated to take the suspect into custody.
