CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Police in Cape Girardeau are investigating a shooting which resulted in one person taken to the hospital.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1700-block of Bloomfield Road.
Police said two suspects were taken into custody while trying to run away from the scene.
One victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
