Illinois state fire marshals are continuing to investigate the cause of a blaze that left two men dead in Union.
Firefighters found heavy fire showing from the northwest corner of the single-story house, WGN reported.
Crews from 15 departments assisted the Union Fire Protection District with the incident.
It was during suppression efforts that the men's bodies, a dog and a cat were located.
