Iowa Eats & Drink Festival returns to Waterloo Convention Center this Saturday April 6--11 AM-5 PM

WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL)  The inaugural event was such a great success, Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area is bringing back it's Iowa Eats & Drink Festival for a second run at the Waterloo Convention Center on April 6.

The one-day event will begin at 11:00 AM and run through 5 p.m. It attracted more than a thousand people for its first run in 2023.

This year, organizers say they have a new lineup of presenters for every palate. Plenty of food, drinks and music for every taste.

Additional Vendors are being accepted, but, the vendor registration deadline is March 15.

Tickets can also be purchased at the Silos & Smokestacks main office at 305 West Park Avenue, across from the Convention Center.

Tickets will also be available at the door of the Waterloo Convention Center on April 6.

Again this year, author Jay Goodvin, Chief Explorer for the popular Iowa Gallivant will serve as the emcee.

Main Stage Performers will include the likes of Thyron Mathews of the popular Netflix Barbeque Showdown, Jessica Baldus of the Food Network's 'Supermarket Stakeout' program, Taufeek Shaw of Lola's Fine Hot Sauce, and Amanda and Ryan Bare of Century Farms Distillery.

This second annual event will also feature all Iowa foods, beverages, chefs, authors and agricultural products, as Silos & Smokestacks  continues to tell the story of American Agriculture.
