Book A Hotel

Parked in the heart of the city, Conrad London is usefully located near all the major attractions, with Westminster Abbey around the corner and St. James’s Park tube station across the road. The communal areas at this hotel are classy and were renovated during Covid, although base rooms can be fairly generic and small with quite dated bathrooms. They feel more traditional than youthful and funky, and ultimately, although this hotel is a perfectly good choice in London, it’s not inspiring or special.

Remember to book any Conrad or Hilton hotels via our luxury travel concierge for extra free benefits. You also get all your usual Hilton Honors points and perks when you book via our concierge.

The Conrad Hotel club lounge has a nice Oriental feel with ornate wooden dividers that partition the space into more intimate areas. There’s lots of nice detailing and natural wood ceilings in parts with massive skylights in other parts that gush with natural light. The floor is wood softened by rugs with blue and cream rugs, again with a slightly Oriental design.

The whole space feels airy and modern, and because it was renovated during Covid, the room feels fresh. Seating is on sofas or around tables, so you can eat comfortably. There is also a business center and shower room.

Hilton Diamond members can access this club lounge for free, or you can book a club room to gain access to this excellent lounge.

This large lounge offers breakfast, afternoon tea, evening canapes, and drinks. The breakfast is generous, with cut fruit, cereals, and hot and cold dishes, including eggs, sausages, and roasted tomatoes. The afternoon tea involves a big bowl of scones, smoked salmon sandwiches, and cakes.

In the evening, there are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on offer, including beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, water, coffee, and tea. The canapes are in little bowls so you’ll need a lot to fill you up. There are dumplings, smoked salmon bites, beef bites, and cakes. While it is enough to fill you up, do not expect a restaurant-style meal. These are canapes that you can pick or gorge on, rather than full plates of food, so you might consider eating out.

This lounge provides a great sanctuary from the madness of London, the food is good, and its recent refurbishment makes it a lovely place to hang out. That said, this lounge does not come at the top of our list of the best club lounges in London. the InterContinental club lounge has better views and the Langham club lounge has better food so there are better options. However, at this price point, the Conrad is a good choice.
