Mountain View man pleads guilty to 2022 quadruple homicide

A Mountain view man has pled guilty to four counts of first-degree murder on Thursday in Stone County Circuit Court.

The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division began investigating the death of victims William Clinton Trammell, 75, Sharon Trammell 72, Shirley Watters, 77, and James Watters, 55.

The first two victims named are the suspect's parents, and the last two were their neighbors, according to a press release.

Donnie Lee Trammell was sentenced to 60 years in the Arkansas Division of Correction.

Arkansas State Police criminal investigation division provided aid to the Stone County Sheriff's office to assist with the investigation, after they made a request on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

Shirley and James Watters were found dead in their home on Northcutt Road, and hours later it was discovered that William and Sharon Trammell were found deceased in their home as well.
