I-80 exit in Dallas County to close for several months

THE TARGETS OF SWATTING CALLS. LATER THIS EVENING, IN ROUGHLY THREE HOURS OR SO, A RAMP ON INTERSTATE 80 WILL CLOSE FOR AT LEAST FOUR MONTHS. THE IOWA DOT IS CLOSING EXIT 113. THE EASTBOUND EXIT TO VAN METER FOR SOME NEW GRADING AND PAVEMENT WORK. IT IS EXPECTED TO BE CLOSED UNTIL JULY FIRST. VAN METER, Iowa —

Starting Monday night, an exit ramp on Interstate 80 in Dallas County will close and won't reopen for several months.

The Iowa DOT is closing Exit 113, the eastbound exit to Van Meter for some new grading and pavement work. The exit ramp will close at 8 p.m. Monday night and will remain closed until July 1.

Detour signs will be posted.
