AWS signs multi-year $500 million deal with Indian cloud service company Minfy

Indian cloud system integrator Minfy signs multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS, targeting $500 million global business growth by leveraging cloud and AI technologies, expanding into new markets, and developing generative AI solutions like Swayam.ai.

Minfy, an Indian cloud native system integrator, has signed a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), aimed at catalysing Minfy's global business growth to the tune of $500 million by bolstering its utilisation of cloud services and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.



Minfy said this deal will allow it to expand its footprint across new geographies, including the United States, Australia, and Southeast Asia, Minfy will also develop new generative AI offerings, such as Swayam.ai generative AI app store, catering to the healthcare, aerospace, logistics, manufacturing, and public sectors. Swayam.ai delivers solutions like intelligent chatbots, sentiment analysis tools, and text-to-video conversion services to customers worldwide, a press release stated.

According to the press release, the collaboration includes a plan to strengthen Minfy's presence in the identified markets by fortifying go-to-market strategies, hiring local talent, and tailoring solutions to meet regional demands.

Under the agreement, Minfy intends to facilitate the transition of enterprises' workloads to AWS, thereby enabling them to prioritise AI adoption and embrace cloud-driven transformations. Additionally, Minfy is set to capitalise on AWS's advanced AI and machine learning (ML) capabilities, such as AWS Inferentia and AWS HealthLake, to develop Gen AI solutions.

Minfy also said it will upskill its workforce in core AWS competencies over the next four years, with a focus on areas like healthcare, data analytics, and ML, and establish Cloud Centre of Excellence.

Vikram Manchanda, CEO of Minfy Technologies, said the collaboration has the potential to drive innovation and deliver value to customers globally. Meanwhile, Vijay Jain, founder and director of Minfy, said the company will ramp up training, hiring, and co-development of solutions to enhance AWS Competencies.
