WALCOTT, Iowa — Country music stars BlackHawk will be headlining a series of concerts for the 45th Anniversary Walcott Truckers Jamboree at the Iowa 80 Truck Stop.
The jamboree runs from Thursday, July 11 to Saturday, July 13. BlackHawk will perform on Friday night at 7 p.m. Royale Lynn, Shane Profitt, Matt Stell and the Dani Lynn Howe band will all be performing throughout the event, as well.
According to organizers, the festival will include a truck beauty contest, antique trucks, an Iowa porkchop cookout, fireworks and more.
“We look forward to celebrating America’s truckers and the work they do each day to keep this country rolling,” Heather DeBaillie with Iowa 80 said.
Attendance and parking at the event is completely free, and a shuttle will be available to help get people from the parking lot to the festival grounds.
