The Crusin Cuisine food truck caught fire in Lehigh Acres Tuesday afternoon. Emilyne Antoine and her husband run it to support their four kids. “It’s very heartbreaking, this is how we make our money to take care of our kids, our family,” Antoine cried. The food truck was the family’s only source of income for the past five years. “I cried because this is my baby, this is my project, everything and we've had it for five years and it's very emotional because I just spent a lot of money renovating it,” Antoine explained. Antoine and their four kids were in their home on 45th Street SW, right next to the food truck, when someone driving by called the fire department. “I'm just so happy that it didn't spread, or the propane gas didn't, you know, the house couldn't catch on fire,” Antoine said. The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
