SENECA FALLS — Three organizations are teaming up to offer a racial healing circle from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at The Lux Hotel, 2468 Route 414.

The program is open to all segments of the general community — specifically, to those 12 and older — to engage in meaningful conversation, listen to each other, share stories, and help restore a wider acknowledgment of our shared humanity for peace, pride, kindness and respect for all our relations, according to organizer Karen Burcroff.

“Are you concerned with equality, fairness, respect, peace and pride for all communities, groups, families and individuals, but maybe not sure where to begin a journey toward understanding?” Burcroff asked. “Do you wish that more people could simply get along with each other?”

The program will be facilitated by Simone Alston of the Native American Community Services of Erie and Niagara counties and Peter Hill, NACS special initiatives director.

To register, email karen@uwseneca.org or call 315-539-1135.

Pizza will be provided to participants.

NACS is co-sponsoring the event with the Seneca County Substance Abuse Coalition and United Way of Seneca County.
