Hi,

I have LAUNCHXL-F28379D and BOOSTXL-3PHGANINV, evaluation boards. I want to run 2 phase, 4-wire stepper motor. Is it possible to run a stepper motor with this 3-phase inverter? If yes, are there any reference designs available in TI?

    Hi,

    A 4-phase inverter (2-full/4-Half bridge) is typically needed to control a 2-phase stepper motor. So the BOOSTXL-3PHGANINV, or other 3-phase inverter boards, will not work.

    You can take a look at DRV8412-C2-KIT board for a4-phase INV reference.
