BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - Three suspects from Bainbridge have been arrested and charged for the murder of another Bainbridge man.

On Sunday, Feb. 25, at around 5:50 p.m., Bainbridge Public Safety asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) to assist with a murder investigation where a man was shot multiple times. The incident happened on the 1400 block of Avenue A in Bainbridge, per the release.

The three suspects were later identified as Anthony Tyrome Chandler, 26, Angela Balogun, 44 and Brianna Chandler, 24. They have been charged for the death of Oharra Reggynaulde Thomas, 23.

According to the release, Thomas was in an argument with his girlfriend, and several members of her family, including her sister, Brianna Chandler; her brother, Anthony Tyrome Chandler; and her mother, Angela Balogun. The argument escalated and Anthony Chandler allegedly shot Thomas multiple times, leading to his death, according to the GBI.

Anthony Chandler was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Angela Balogun was charged with tampering with evidence, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Brianna Chandler was charged with aggravated assault and hindering the apprehension of a fugitive.

All three were taken to the Decatur County Jail.
