HYATTSVILLE, Md. (7News) — A suspect has been arrested in the assault of a pregnant woman who was seen on video kicked and punched by another woman in Prince George's County, Hyattsville Police Chief Jarod Towers told 7News during a live talkback at noon.
Within less than 24 hours after releasing surveillance video of the attack, Chief Towers said the department received a tip that led them to identify the suspect --- Keirina Boykin of Washington D.C.
Boykin was arrested on Feb. 22 and charged with first and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, and is being held without bond, police said.

On Jan 28, Hyattsville police said a woman attacked a pregnant woman in the 6400 block of America Boulevard. Officials said EMTs treated the victim at the scene.
Police said Boykin has also been identified as a suspect in an armed robbery in the county.
